TRIGGERING & SENSITIVE CONTENT: abortion, generational trauma, infanticide
In this episode, Love of Learning Institute’s Executive Director Alexis Waddell joins Mike and Zoe in a discussion about supporting parents with resources, modern education and household culture, and the deep impact of working as a team to raise the next generation.
Parenting is a hardcore task, and one that Alexis believes does not have to be done alone. With her Parent Confidence Fair coming up in September at Austin Town Hall, she plans to provide information on home resources, baby toys and necessities, workshops, activities, and even free childcare for guardians to enjoy the fair to the fullest.
Love of Learning Institute (LOL, Inst.), is a non-profit that delivers early childhood experiences to enable self-discovery and awareness in young children ages 0-5; while contributing to early childhood research efforts with partnered educators, mental health specialists, community leaders, and guardians.
