Youth Art & Zine Drop-In

The Children’s Gallery Chicago’s pop-up/studio days program, Art in Motion, is rolling into Douglass Library in North Lawndale for not one but TWO all-day creative takeovers this November! From painting to zine-making to clay, we’re turning the library into a studio of imagination. Youth artwork, with their permission, will be put on display throughout the library!
Snacks included on both days, joy guaranteed 100%!!!
But here’s the thing…we’re just getting started. The Children’s Gallery Chicago is on a mission to bring at least 12 pop-ups + studio days to youth across the city before the year ends!
And we can’t do it alone.
We’re calling on libraries, schools, community centers + cultural orgs to open their doors and partner with us. Together, we can transform spaces into hubs of healing, art, and connection!
