West Chicago Property Tax Outreach

Cook County Board of Review District 2 Commissioner Samantha Steele is bringing property tax appeal resources directly to West Chicago Township through an in-person outreach session, offering taxpayers personalized, one-on-one support with filing their appeals.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Moos Elementary School (Door 1), 1711 N. California Ave. Taxpayers are encouraged to register for the event here. For more information, visit cookcountyboardofreview.com or contact Linnea McHugh at (773) 705-0601.
“Filing an appeal doesn’t have to be confusing or time-consuming,” said Commissioner Steele. “At our property tax appeal workshops, we can guide you step by step and help you file one-on-one in just minutes.”
Attendees may arrive starting at 5:30 PM to meet with analysts who can answer questions and assist with filing appeals. Taxpayers should bring their property index number (PIN), which is listed on their property tax bill. A brief presentation on the property assessment and appeals process will begin at 6:00 PM, with analysts available throughout the event to provide one-on-one assistance.
The deadline to file appeals for West Chicago Township is October 21st, 2025, and additional evidence must be submitted by October 31st, 2025.
